Best Animated Comedy Series of 2015

2015's been one of the strongest years for animated series in a long time. The amount of voice talent, the technology to animate and the various distribution outlets have created a perfect storm. That being said, Adult Swim still seems to be the top dog in brutally original and hysterical animated programming. Though FX, Fox and Comedy central do not slack off at all. Below are the best animated series of 2015.

Annie Hall Tops the List of 100 Funniest Screenplays Ever

The Writers Guild of America announced their awards for the top 101 funniest screenplays of all time revealing Woody Allen and Marshall Brickman's Annie Hall topped the list. Annie Hall won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay in 1977.

The Very Best Comedy Series on Television in 2014

The great comedy in 2014 wasn't just limited to stand up. There was also outstanding comedy on television. Comedy Central really upped their game this year, with five of our top ten programs coming from the all-comedy network. All five of those shows -- Dave Attell's Comedy Underground Live, South Park, Review, Inside Amy Schumer and Key & Peele -- brought completely different elements of comedy to the channel. Brooklyn Nine Nine, Last Week Tonight, Comedy Bang Bang, Silicon Valley, and The Pete Holmes Show all created must see television too. And we've left off many great comics-- more proof of the strength of comedy in 2014.

Comedian and writer Megan Amram is a writer for NBC's "Parks and Recreation" and Comedy Central's "Kroll Show". She was named one of Rolling Stone's "25 Funniest People on Twitter" and Forbes Magazine listed Amram on their "30 Under 30 List." Amram has a brand new book out, "Science...For Her!" described as a "politically, scientifically, and anatomically incorrect “textbook” for female self-improvement.
