South Park Takes Shot At Colin Kaepernick

There’s a new Anthem in South Park and it’s got cops and pigs, and of course, Colin Kaepernick.
South Park returns tonight for its 20th season. We know it’s going to be a big big season, and over the summer Comedy Central dropped a few hints that South Park will get political. A new tease for tonight’s Season 20 premiere takes on the NFL and Colin Kaepernick’s National Anthem protest. The good people of South Park aren’t sure whether they’re pro-Colin K or anti-Colin K but thank goodness they’re willing to sing about it. In a second clip released by Comedy Central we find out that in episode one of the new season, the Gallup Poll has come to town, and they want to know how the South Park residents are planning to vote. Trey Parker and Matt Stone have already said they do plan to cover the election but they’re not planning to focus too heavily on Trump or Hillary characters. But Mr. Garrison’s run for the Oval Office will feature prominently.
