Creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are taking us back to the sleepy little batshit crazy town of South Park for an 18th season. The new season of South Park premieres on Wednesday, September 24th at 10 pm et.
The series began in 1997 and has consistently remained one of television’s funniest and most outrageous programs. The new season looks like it will be no different with Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny navigating their way through the insanity of their home town. Season 18 will consist of 10 brand new episodes. Each episode will be available on Hulu the day after it airs on Comedy Central. Currently all of the first 17 seasons are available on the streaming service.
The new season promises to uphold the South Park tradition of turning the day’s big headlines into animated storylines on each show. Celebrity targets lined up for ridicule in Season 18 include Al Gore, J-Lo, Kanye West, Oprah, Sir Elton John, Tom Cruise, John Travolta, and P. Diddy.
Along with executive producers Trey Parker and Matt Stone, South Park is produced by Eric Stough, Bill Hader, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell and Vernon Chatman.
