American NFL Idol!? The Strange Singing Careers of NFL Players

After his 5th NFL concussion, Ben Utecht left the game to focus exclusively on his singing career. It started to take off when Ben was singing at a Christian youth rally and got the attention of Christian singer Sandy Patti. She signed him and his first album of inspirational music “Ben Utecht” was released. He’s sung with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra and the Indianapolis Symphony and sometimes performs the National Anthem at his Alma mater, the University of Minnesota. Ben has also put out other albums including his popular “Christmas Hope”.
