Amy Schumer Responds To Bathing Suit Comments

The Roast of Amy Schumer by The People continued yesterday via Instagram. After a photo of Schumer in a one-piece bathing suit was posted, and promptly insulted, the comedian responded by saying, “I meant to write "good morning trolls!" I hope you find some joy in your lives today in a human interaction and not just in writing unkind things to a stranger you've never met who triggers something in you that makes you feel powerless and alone. This is how I look. I feel happy. I think I look strong and healthy and also like miss trunchbull from Matilda. Kisses!”

Lady Dynamite is The Series Comedy Fans Have Been Waiting For

Lady Dynamite has been a long time coming and, it’s funny. Maria Bamford’s new semi-autobiographical Netflix series is well crafted, and about as fun as anything you've ever seen on television. It won't be experienced by as many people as saw Trainwreck this year, and that's a shame, because its not only fun and funny, it's also silly and poignant, and even important.

The Blue Whale Comedy Festival in Tulsa is only in its third year, but features headliners Eric André and Fortune Feimster this year. Exploring the Exquisite Work of Michelle McNamara

Patton Oswalt’s latest hour-long stand-up special, “Talking for Clapping” is astute, pointedly hilarious and as strong as you’d expect. It was released streaming to Netflix April 22nd. It has more to do with children’s birthday parties than death. Oswalt, a prolific constant within comedy, tweeted to promote the special as well as condolences for the loss of Prince. Hours later he lost his wife and the mother of their young daughter for reasons unknown. Her name was Michelle McNamara.
