Stephen Colbert Does No Handed Push Ups for the Troops

Stephen Colbert supports three things-- the troops, veterans, and lumber. To show his support, he put out a video today doing 20 pushups for the 101st Airborn, several of them using no hands. He says John Oliver challenged him to complete the task,and he now challenges fellow late night hosts James Corden, Jimmy Kimmel and either Karl Lagerfeld or the pope.

Mike met Gary Greenberg in 1993 when they were both working at New York Comedy Club, which was owned by Al Martin (who now owns Broadway Comedy Club). Mike said "me and Gary bonded fast he is one of my oldest and closest friends in comedy."

Adam Scott Invited Luke Skywalker to His Birthday Party

When Adam Scott was in second grade, he invited Mark Hamill to his birthday party, and then told all his friends that Luke Skywalker would probably be there. He wrote a letter to Hamill and gave it to his mom. Needless to say, writing a letter to your mom does not result in a giant movie star showing up to your second grade birthday party. He told this story to Jimmy Kimmel last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live. He also said that years later he thought it would be funny to ask Hamill on Twitter why he never showed up. Hamill wrote back, and we could recreate this whole thing.

Miss The Letterman Goodbye Last Night? Here’s Most of It

If you missed the final episode of the Late Show with David Letterman you missed big ovations, lots of thanks, a few looks back, and a celebrity studded Top Ten list. There were no real emotional moments, Dave took the show out in almost exactly the same fashion as he conducted the show for the last few decades-- level and steady, having a good time, and professional as always.
