Drake Episode Falls Flat on SNL, Jay Pharoah Provides Episode Highlight

Anticipation was high for Drake's return to Saturday Night Live. After all, he's a superstar. But the episode fell flat, making it the second week in a row that we struggled to find a favorite clip of the night to share. There was a somewhat self deprecating monologue that had Drake pleading with his audience to see him as more than a meme, a self deprecating digital short where Drake wondered why the cast doesn't respect him, and imagines rap responses to the haters, and plenty of Drake sketches.

Three Ghostbusters Share Screen For First Time in SNL Sketch

Melissa McCarthy hosted SNL last night giving us our first glimpse at the on screen chemistry of three of the four Ghostbusters. Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones shared the screen for the first time last night after spending last summer filming Paul Feig's 2016 reboot of Ghostbusters.

Larry David Smashes Into Bernie Sanders on SNL with “Bern Your Enthusiasm”

We love Larry, but going into Saturday Night Live last night, let's just say we were keeping expectations low. Many of Saturday Night Live's funniest hosts have unfortunately produce some of the show's weakest episodes. So last night we were thrilled to see Larry David kill as the host with some of the funniest sketches of the year. Bonus for the chance to see Larry bring his curmudgeon LD style to some silly characters.

Last night Saturday Night Live delivered a strong episode with some great music from Leon Bridges, a guest appearance from SNL alum Mike Myers and some really strong sketches, all featuring Gosling. There were so many great sketches last night it's hard to pick the best ones to share but there were two that stood out as the strongest.

Star Wars Screen Tests Return to SNL for A New Generation

It's been nine years since we saw Kevin Spacey playing Christopher Walken as Han Solo, Walter Matthau as Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Jack Lemmon as Chewbacca. It's been nine years since we got to see Norm MacDonald audition for the part of Darth Vader as Burt Reynolds, and Ana Gasteyer portray Barbra Streisand screen testing for the part of Princess Leia, and Darrel Hammond playing Richard Dreyfus auditioning for the part of C-3PO.
