Last night Saturday Night pulled off a great double play with their tribute to Mothers Day. First, SNL castmembers and featured players brought their moms out on stage so they could confess something they did wrong as a kid, and apologize for the very real, terrible things they did to theim. Host Reese Witherspoon was not exempt from the process.
One of Saturday Night Live's great traditions over its 40 year run is doing an impression of a guest to the guest's face. Mike Myers played Mick Jagger next to Mick Jagger's "Keith Richards" in '93 and just earlier this season, just about every SNL cast member broke out their best "Jim Carrey" in a sketch with host Jim Carrey.
Directed by Chris Rock. Starring: Chris Rock, Rosario Dawson, Kevin Hart, Tracy Morgan, Cedric The Entertainer, J.B. Smoove, Sherri Shepherd, Anders Holm, Romany Malco, Leslie Jones, Michael Che, and Jay Pharoah.
