Also on the list to receive top awards at this years Just for Laughs Comedy Festival are Maria Bamford who is the Breakout Comedy Star of the Year, Silicon Valley creators Mike Judge and Alec Berg named Writers of the Year, and Aziz Ansari, who takes the title of Comedy Person of the Year.

New York Magazine’s entertainment and culture branch, Vulture.com, will be hosting its 3rd annual Vulture Festival from May 21-22. The festival highlights the best of television, film, music, comedy and more, and will take place at Milk Studios and a few other venues around New York City.
