Vulture Festival Announces Jam Packed Lineup

vulture comedy fest

New York Magazine’s entertainment and culture branch, Vulture.com, will be hosting its 3rd annual Vulture Festival from May 21-22. The festival highlights the best of television, film, music, comedy and more, and will take place at Milk Studios and a few other venues around New York City. Vulture announced last month that Sarah Silverman & Friends would be headlining the festival and have followed that up today with a complete lineup announcement that offers a little something for everyone.

The casts and creators of various shows will be in attendance for panels over the two-day event. Hulu is sponsoring a Happy Endings reunion, hosted by Vulture editor Jesse David Fox, featuring show creator David Caspe, showrunner Jonathan Groff, and cast members Adam Pally, Damon Wayans Jr., Eliza Coupe, Elisha Cuthbert, Casey Wilson, and Zachary Knighton. There will be a host of other television panels, including discussions with the casts and creators of Better Call Saul, Jessica Jones, Younger, You’re the Worst, and Search Party, so interested fans would do well to get their tickets to these events as soon as possible.

Some stand-up comics will be making appearances in various formats. Sarah Silverman and (to be announced) fellow comics will perform stand-up at BAM at 8 p.m. on the 22nd. Comic and Daily Show host Trevor Noah will do an interview at The Standard High Line with New York writer Rembert Browne. Difficult People creator and star Julie Klausner, along with co-star Billy Eichner (Billy on the Street) and EP Amy Poehler, will perform a live read and panel discussion along with the rest of the show’s cast, moderated by Vulture’s E. Alex Jung.

The Casper Podcast Lounge will play host to live tapings of multiple podcasts, including Jessica Williams (The Daily Show) and Phoebe Robinson’s Two Dope Queens and Chris Gethard’s Beautiful/Anonymous. Animated comedy fans can catch a killer panel featuring well known voices from shows such as Archer, Bob’s Burger, Rick and Morty, and Futurama reading lines from classic movies, which is sure to be hilarious.

The above events are only a portion of the full lineup, so be sure to check out Vulture’s website to see the complete list. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20th, so be sure to postpone the wake and bake until after you secure your tickets to this star-studded festiva
