MTV’s Stand Up and Improv Driven Series ‘Joking Off’ Returns Tonight

Tonight on MTV2, the series that pits young comedians against each other in a game of whose funniest returns for Season 2. Joking Off had a great season one run, and they're back with an all new gorgeous set, new games, returning favorite comedians and plenty of new greats. We got to do a visit to the set of Joking Off last summer, and had a blast, getting to talk to some of the new S2 comics- and we'll share some of those interviews coming soon- but for now we'll say that these are some of the funniest kids in comedy today and we are excited to watch all the S2 episodes.

Margaret Cho Pot Series in the Works with Amazon

It's been ten years since Margaret Cho had a tv show, but she's about to change that. Cho is gonna be hiiiiigh-in' with a brand new pot series in production with Amazon studios. Cho will executive produce and star in the hour long comedy-drama hybrid (or high-brid) titled Highland.

Cosby Countersues

Hard to believe Bill Cosby could find a way to look even worse in the media, but today's announcement is definitely leaving a few jaws on the floor. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Bill Cosby filed counterclaims on Monday against the alleged victims on Monday who had filed defamation lawsuits against him.

Hours and Hours of Just For Laughs Comedy Without Leaving Home

The annual Just for Laughs Festival is undisputedly the Godfather of Comedy Festivals. Everyone in comedy has either performed at Just for Laughs or wants to, but not everyone can make it to Montreal. This year, Just for Laughs is bringing the festival to you. Today the J4L team has announced that the Pete Holmes Elevator Show, a 90 minute Prime Time Special hosted by Howie Mandell, Funny as Hell featuring plenty of stand up hotsed by Jon Dore, hours of comedy performances from Just For Laughs, and The Nasty Show hosted by Artie Lange!

Co-Star Says Big CBS Sitcom is Cancelled After 6 Seasons

Rondi Reed who co-stars in the popular CBS Sitcom Mike and Molly posted on her Facebook page this week that the series has been cancelled. "Before you hear it elsewhere (and some already have)," she said, "this is the Final and 6th Season of MIKE & MOLLY on CBS."

Last night Will Ferrell made an unannounced appearance on Saturday Night Live and opened the show as George W. Bush who had something to say about this year's Republican candidates running for President.
