The annual Just for Laughs Festival is undisputedly the Godfather of Comedy Festivals. Everyone in comedy has either performed at Just for Laughs or wants to, but not everyone can make it to Montreal. This year, Just for Laughs is bringing the festival to you. Today the J4L team has announced that the Pete Holmes Elevator Show, a 90 minute Prime Time Special hosted by Howie Mandell, Funny as Hell featuring plenty of stand up hotsed by Jon Dore, hours of comedy performances from Just For Laughs, and The Nasty Show hosted by Artie Lange!

truTV’s Impractical Jokers are celebrating their 100th episode with a giant LIVE event hosted by Howie Mandel in New York City. On September 3rd the Jokers will walk a high wire five stories above New York City. Or at least they'll attempt it, with New York's South Street Seaport as the backdrop. They're calling it the Live Punishment Special.

When you interview a comedic magic dragon, you get sarcastic answers. Because comedic magic dragons are quite smart aleck-y. But this particular comedic magic dragon is having a great week because he just got himself a golden buzzer on America's Got Talent. PiffTheMagicDragon had a great set on his first appearance on AGT in round one, really impressing Howard Stern, Howie Mandel, and Heidi Klum in his first appearance earlier this season. He also got almost 3 million views on the clip that got posted on YouTube.

He won the heart of all of the Judges and the AGT audience, and was only beaten by Japanese dancer Kenichi Ebina. We grabbed a few minutes to catch up with Taylor and ask him Five Questions. NBC has been keeping most of the details about this year's all new season of Last Comic Standing. Most of the format details are super hush, and the names of the comedians have been largely guarded with the exception of a few comedians we've seen in promos. But NBC announced today, that in addition to all the great comedians already involved, there will be a number of huge comedy names serving as celebrity mentors.

If you're part of generation MTV, then you remember Theo Von as a 19 year old kid on MTV's Road Rules. He's all grown up now, and hosting not one, but two popular shows. Von is currently hosting season two of TBS's hit game show "Deal With It Now" (executive produced by comedy icon Howie Mandel) and he also hosts "Prime Time in No Time" which they say is "the most watched show in the history of the internet" nightly.
