Hours and Hours of Just For Laughs Comedy Without Leaving Home

The annual Just for Laughs Festival is undisputedly the Godfather of Comedy Festivals. Everyone in comedy has either performed at Just for Laughs or wants to, but not everyone can make it to Montreal. This year, Just for Laughs is bringing the festival to you. Today the J4L team has announced that the Pete Holmes Elevator Show, a 90 minute Prime Time Special hosted by Howie Mandell, Funny as Hell featuring plenty of stand up hotsed by Jon Dore, hours of comedy performances from Just For Laughs, and The Nasty Show hosted by Artie Lange!

Seth Meyers To Headline Gilda’s Laughfest 2016

This morning producers announced the lineup for the Sixth Annual annual Gilda's Laughfest. Seth Meyers, Kathy Griffin, Marlon Wayans, Anjelah Johnson and Roy Wood Jr. will headline the 2016 festival along with performances from Jim Norton, Bridget Everett, Denver's own Grawlix (which features Ben Roy, Andrew Orvedahl and Adam Cayton-Holland), Ron Funches, Undateable's Chris D’Elia, Bert Kreischer, Heather McDonald, and Sebastian Maniscalco.

SF Sketchfest Killer Lineup Includes Tribute to Waiting For Guffman

Tickets are on sale now for the legendary San Francisco Sketchfest which includes plenty of sketch and much much more. High Plains Comedy Festival Releases Full Schedule

The High Plains Comedy Festival announced today its final wave of performers and released the full Festival schedule. The new announcement includes the addition of 40 Denver-based comedians a special appearance by Ron Funches, who will be in town at Comedy Works recording his next album plus LA comedians Josh Androsky and Justine Marino. Along with previously announced Denver sons The Grawlix, comedians Troy Walker, Kristin Rand, Chris Charpentier, Haley Driscoll and Jim Hickox will all be making the trip to perform to their “hometown” audiences.

Emerging Talents Feel More Like Headliners at First Annual Second City Break Out Festival in Chicago

This weekend NBC and Chicago's Second City held the first ever "Break Out Comedy Festival" to give a showcase to diverse emerging comedic talents, or as host Ron Funches put it- not white people. The event included some panels and talks but the highlight was a two night comedy showcase held at Second City's Up Comedy Club. Two nights of outstanding performances included stand up, sketch work, solo work, characters, and improv hosted by The Daily Show's Al Madrigal on Friday night, and Ron Funches who you know from the hit NBC series Undateable on Saturday night.
