Philly Legend Jimmy Shubert On Tonight’s Last Comic Standing

We've got one more name on the list of who is going to be competing in this year's Last Comic Standing on NBC. In addition to Joe "the handsome vault" Machi, we now know that comedy great Jimmy Shubert is joining the competition, so watch out everyone else, you're in for a tough fight. Shubert called in to the Ron and Fez Show today to promote his appearance this weekend on Dave Attell's Comedy Underground and also confirmed that we will see him on Last Comic Standing tonight.

Who’s Still Standing: A Look Back at Season One of Last Comic Standing

Last Comic Standing is coming back to NBC on May 22nd. The show will be back with a new host, JB Smoove, and Roseanne, Keenan Ivory Wayans and Russell Peters will be judging. The original version of LCS debuted in 2003 on NBC with host Jay Mohr. Now over 10 years since that first season, we can look back and see how those original contestants fared in their comedy careers. Who's still standing!?

Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer and Other Big Names to Mentor Comics on This Year’s “Last Comic Standing”

NBC has been keeping most of the details about this year's all new season of Last Comic Standing. Most of the format details are super hush, and the names of the comedians have been largely guarded with the exception of a few comedians we've seen in promos. But NBC announced today, that in addition to all the great comedians already involved, there will be a number of huge comedy names serving as celebrity mentors.

Who Pranked the Bridgetown Comedy Festival

The Bridgetown Comedy Festival, founded in 2008 by Andy Wood, Matt Braunger, and Kim Brady, just celebrated its 7th year of bringing the finest comedy in the world to Portland, Oregon. This year featured over 200 comics, including Emo Philips, Reggie Watts, W. Kamau Bell, Nathan Fielder, and Dan Harmon, who drunkenly announced the end of "Community" on the afterparty dance floor.
