This morning, The Harris Poll results were released, and Jimmy Fallon, Ellen DeGeneres, Steve Harvey and Steven Colbert made the list of the top five tv personalities in America. NCIS' Mark Harmon beat all of them for the top spot as America’s favorite TV personality, narrowly beating out reigning champion Ellen Degeneres. According to Poll results, Conservatives pick Harmon while Moderates and Liberals both lean toward DeGeneres. Harmon last held the title in 2011 and DeGeneres leaned up in the last three years, proving that America likes it’s TV the way they like their politics. Full of familiar faces.

Noel Fielding is in America and about to embark on his first solo North American tour. On Thursday afternoon, Fielding sat in with Ron and Gail Bennington of the Bennington Show on SiriusXM, and talked about some of his favorite artists, like David Bowie, Bobcat Goldthwait, Robin Williams, Jonathan Winters, Dan Aykroyd,and gave his opinions on the election, American politics and Donald Trump. He also talks about being excited to visit San Francisco for the first time, his love of painting and why he draws before he writes when he's creating comedy.

This week NBC announced that Seth Meyers contract to host Late Night has been extended five years till 2021. The 12:35am shows are often thought of as a trial for the much coveted 11:35pm slot, but given Jimmy Fallon's youth and enormous popularity, its unlikely that Meyers would ever be in contention to take over The Tonight Show. So why would he stay on at the Late Night spot instead of seeking prime time action elsewhere or a deal with Netflix or Amazon?
