The soft-spoken comedian spoke to us recently about her career as a stand-up and her two very different projects; Adult Swim’s The Heart, She Holler as Hambroisia and Angus MacLachian’s directorial debut Goodbye to All That opposite Paul Schneider.

Bill Burr Talks About His New Special, and the Next Generation of Comedy

This Friday Netflix will release Bill Burr's fourth hour long special, "I'm Sorry You Feel That Way." The special was shot on June 20, 2014 at the Tabernacle in Atlanta. Burr is the stand up comedian that other comedians aspire to be right now. His Monday Morning Podcast is one of the most downloaded comedy podcasts on iTunes and he is the co-founder of the "All Things Comedy" network. He has so many things happening in 2015, including a co-starring role in the feature film "Black or White" and an animated Netflix Series "F is for Family." Amy Hawthorne spoke with Bill about his career, and the new special.

Bill Burr Animated Series Coming to Netflix

Bill Burr fans have something new to get excited for. An all new animated series based on Burr's comedy, and his childhood, is coming exclusively to Netflix. Bill Burr will voice family dad Frank Murphy in the upcoming series, "F is for Family". Set in the 70's, the show will follow the Murphy Family during a time when you could smack your kids and smoke indoors, and airports weren't such a scary place. Joining Burr will be Laura Dern, who voices Frank's wife Sue, and Justin Long as their oldest son Kevin.
