Bill,
John,
Joel and
Brian Doyle-Murray seem to be the four brothers you’ve always wanted to hang out with. We got to see them all in action when Comedy Central gave them a TV show where they got flown around the world to various different golf courses to be taped while playing. It lasted 5 episodes, but they got some golfing out of it.Joel and Brian Murray have had extensive acting experience and John is an actor as well as a writer and producer. Bill Murray is Bill Murray. He’s might be the most beloved funny person alive today.
Scrooged,
What About Bob,
Caddyshack,
Ghostbusters,
Kingpin,
Quick Change, not to mention his brilliantly funny performances in several Wes Anderson films. It’s impossible to list his greatest roles without pissing off someone because if you leave anything out, you’ve left out something great. Brian’s worked with the Second City comedy troupe, on
SNL, and with the
National Lampoon Radio Hour, in addition to his smaller-than-Bill but still memorable film roles. Truly one of the great comedic character actors working today. Joel’s comedy roles tend to be a bit on the darker side, but they are brilliant. His dark comedic roles on
Shameless and in the film
God Bless America alone earned him a place in this royal comedy family.
