The Marx Brothers

marxesStars of stage and early screen, the Marx brothers were hugely popular in America during their time. 13 of their films were inducted into AFI’s top 100 comedy films and all 5 brothers were chosen for AFI’s 100 Years…100 Stars list. The main act consisted of Groucho, Chico and Harpo and their two brothers – Gummo and Zeppo eventually left the group to pursue other careers. After the brothers act stopped, Groucho went on to host the veyr successful TV game show You Bet Your Life. Their legacy is intact as one of the most gifted an talented families of performers in the history of this country.
