Jerry Stiller and his wife,
Anne Meara, could have made this list on their own based on their act —
Stiller and Meara — from the 60’s and 70s. They were hugely popular and some of the first graduates of Second City. Stiller also went on to play the iconic role of George’s father on Seinfeld. But two brilliant comedic performers couldn’t help but produce a successful kid. Their son is actor, director and writer
Ben Stiller, so you know there’s something in the genes. Since the 90’s, Ben Stiller has been a dominant force in comedy films. And of course, Ben married comedic actress
Christine Taylor, and she’s no slouch either– with television appearances on
Ellen,
Seinfeld and
Arrested Development, and plenty of comedic film roles as well. The couple has two children aged 12 and 9 so we’ll be waiting to see if the Stiller dynasty can keep it going.
