James Smith is back in the US and had a great set on Conan last night. James left New York a few years ago to back to his home country of Australia. When he lived in New York he was a regular at the Comedy Cellar and was a guest on Tough Crowd. Back in Australia, he was regularly selling out shows.

On Conan, Emma Stone told Conan O'Brien that she recently tried to explain Twitter to Woody Allen. The 79-year-old director said that he did not understand the point of the medium, “unless you are a musician advertising a gig or you are a comedian doing one liners.” The Irrational Man co-star tried to demonstrate a great Twitter account to Allen, reading him a tweet from the author Joyce Carol Oates.

Stephen Colbert Defends Pluto To Hater Neil deGrasse Tyson

Stephen Colbert is killing time until the Late Show with Stephen Colbert premieres on September 8th. To keep himself busy, he brought in astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson to discuss Pluto. NASA's New Horizons spacecraft was able to take images of Pluto in a historic flyby. Dr. Tyson famously led the charge to get Pluto demoted to dwarf-planet status.
