Congratulations to the five Grammy Nominees for Best Comedy Album this year! Among the nominees were Lisa Lampanelli and Jay Mohr whose albums we spotlighted earlier this year, as well as Louis C.K., Wyatt Cenac, and Craig Ferguson. Three of the releases were produced by our friends at Comedy Dynamics which continues to be a powerhouse in the industry.

I finally got the opportunity to sit down with Roy Wood Jr. to talk about his gig as a correspondent on The Daily Show. We’ve been passing each other like ships in the night because we’re both always running off someplace, so before he took the stage to headline Gotham Comedy Club over the holiday weekend we sat down in the green room to chat. As a testament to his popularity despite the holiday weekend the room was packed.

Speaking with The New Yorker's David Remick, Amy Schumer revealed that she plans to be involved in Hilary Clinton's presidential campaign. "Love her!" she told Remick. "She's struggling with millennials right now, which is who she should be cleaning up with." She's only met the former First Lady and Presidential Candidate once, but she's ready to do anything they need to help get Hillary to the Oval Office.
