Pamela Adlon Getting Her Own Series Directed By Louis CK

Two time Emmy nominee Pamela Adlon is getting a pilot deal on FX. Adlon, who not only appears on "Louie", but also produces and writes for the series, will star in the comedy pilot called "Better Things". She created the concept and will executive produce with Louis and he will also direct the pilot. Adlon and CK also collaborated on CK's first series, "Lucky Louie" where she played his Louie's wife.

Comedian Bill Burr Will Guest on First “Nightly Show” with Larry Wilmore Plus a Sneak Peek at the New Nightly Show Set

Larry Wilmore has announced his first guests.  Comedian Bill Burr, rapper Talib Kweli, and Senator Corey Booker will appear on the very first "Nightly Show" when Larry Wilmore takes over on Monday January 19th at 11:30pm after the Daily Show. As previously announced, Shenaz Treasury, Ricky Velez, and Mike Yard will be recurring contributors on the show, and it's looking like the rest of January will have some interesting guests including Kathleen Madigan and John Leguizamo.

Robert Kelly, It’s His Time

Robert Kelly is already having an amazing 2015. His brand new comedy hour, Robert Kelly: Live at the Village Underground debuts Friday at 12 am et on Comedy Central, and he's incredibly proud of the special, which he produced on his terms. He's also shot the new Denis Leary FX series, Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll which is set to premiere this summer. And just last spring he had an unforgettable guest role on Louis CK's Louie. His podcast, You Know What Dude is a huge hit on RiotCast.com. After 25 years of working at it, it's all coming together for Kelly.

Nine Great Artists Share Their Memories of Nine Incredible Comedic Talents

2014 was a year where comedy news dominated the headlines regularly, and that was in no small part because we lost so many comedy legends this year. The empty spaces at the comedy dias this year are large and unfillable. Literal legends, people who created modern comedy who we were lucky enough to have in our midst just a year ago like Joan Rivers, Sid Ceaser, David Brenner, Mike Nichols and Robin Williams, are no longer here. We also lost younger brilliant comics who should have had decades ahead of them, like John Pinette, Otto Petersen, and Tim Wilson. All eight of these tremendous talents have left behind great work for this generation and future generations to enjoy for years to come.
