Irish singer-songwriter Sinead O’Connor, in a (now deleted) post to Facebook, accused comedian/talk show host Arsenio Hall of selling “hard drugs” to Prince, who died on April 21st. In the post, O’Connor claimed not only that Hall sold drugs to Prince “over the decades,” but also that Hall had, at some point in the past, drugged O’Connor’s drink without her consent.

Ramon Rivas II is a stand up comedian and eminent Latino from Cleveland, OH, but his role in Cleveland comedy goes way beyond either of those two descriptions. He is the latest in a short list of dedicated comedy personalities to take on the unofficial role of keeping the comedy scene vibrant in Cleveland. He was featured in the documentary 'Make Fun' and has been lauded in festivals and competitions all over the United States, and now he's created this brilliant oral history of his city, with commentary from club owners past and present, big personalities and comedy stars including Sinbad, Dave Hill, Jim Tewes and two dozen others.

Owen Smith's name is familiar to comedy fans on both coasts and his face is familiar to television viewers, who may still just know him as a “Hey, it’s THAT guy!” thanks to his numerous guest roles and memorable commercial appearances (he was the guy who did a choreographed dance with his State Farm agent on the jumbotron). He’s also a prolific writer who contributed to Are We There Yet?, Deon Cole’s Black Box, and 2013 reboot of The Arsenio Hall Show.
