Arsenio Hall Will Host New Singing Reality Competition Show

Per Variety: Arsenio Hall will be heading back to television once again this summer with ABC’s new unscripted singing show, Greatest Hits. The former Arsenio Hall Show host will be joined by country singer and co-host Kelsea Ballerini.

Greatest Hits will be a musical showcase: Iconic musicians from throughout the past three decades will appear on the show to perform various hits, with each episode focusing on a five year block of music and featuring solo performances, duets, and tributes to musicians past.

This isn’t the first time Hall has returned to TV since his hit Arsenio Hall Show, which aired from 1989 until 1994; the comic and host tried to revive his hit Arsenio Hall Show,  back in 2013, but the show was cancelled due to low ratings. This will be Ballerini’s first foray into television.

The show will be executive produced by James McKinlay, Raj Kapoor, and Ken Ehrlich, with Leon Knoles directing and David Wiles writing and producing.
