Who’s on Late Night Tonight in Comedy?

It’s a short work week for our late night hosts. All of the late night talkers are celebrating a day without labor by taking Labor Day off. As for the rest of the week, Conan O’Brien won’t be in this week and will be filling his ‘Best Of’ shows with reruns from his week at Comic Con 2017 in San Diego including this Thursday when Conan welcomes the cast of “Game of Thrones“, which is perfect for any of you Thronies going through withdrawal and needing a GoT fix.

Wednesday will be the national late night comedy debut for Martin Urbano on Jimmy Kimmel Live. He’s having an amazing year. Martin was named one of this year’s New Faces at Just For Laughs in Montreal. He received great reviews at JFL for a hilarious bit on pedophiles. If he can make that funny, he must be good. Watch for his debut, Wednesday night on JKL. Also on Wednesday, the Late Late Show with James Corden has a couple of tall, funny blondes booked, Jim Gaffigan and Jane Lynch will be side-by-side on the Late Late Show couch. It’s up to you to tell them apart.

Thursday is a great night to keep your DVR busy. First, Jimmy Kimmel welcomes the Broad City comedy team of Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer to JKL. Also on Thursday, if you’re still not over last year’s Presidential election and wish things had gone a different way, Stephen Colbert has Senator Bernie Sanders on the guest list. So, you can all commiserate together.

Plus, if you haven’t check out the new truTV version of The Chris Gethard Show on Thursday, this will be the episode to catch. It’s a repeat of Chris’ first show on truTV which was a great crash course into what his show is all about, with special guests Sal Vulcano, James “Murr” Murray and Brian “Q” Quinn from Impractical Jokers.
