Who is On Late Night Tonight in Comedy: Week of October 29, 2018

Who’s on Late Night Tonight in Comedy?

This is a week that could be filled with some late nights either preparing for Halloween or enjoying the spooky holiday. Either way, if you’re going to be up late anyway, you might as well enjoy some late night talk show comedy this week. Here’s some of the highlights.

On Monday, Bill Burr will be appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live. This seems like the perfect time for a Bill Burr booking with his Boston Red Sox having just won the World Series. Although something tells us that Bill will still have a reason to be pissed off and we’ll hear all about it on Monday’s JKL.

Chris Gethard leads our Tuesday late night highlights. He’ll be on Late Night with Seth Meyers to promote his newly released book, “Lose Well“. In the book, Chris explains through his own personal experiences with losing on how to handle disappointments and setbacks, and he does it in his own hilarious way. If you want some background on the book and to see what Chris Gethard is hoping to accomplish with it, check out our article about “Lose Well” with the very apropos title, “Hey Losers! (Yes that Means You) Chris Gethard Can Help.”

Thursday, Jimmy Kimmel welcomes the Greatest Band in the World, Tenacious D for a performance. Jack Black and Kyle Gass are putting the band back together on JKL in anticipation of the release of the comedy-rock duo’s new studio album, “Post-Apocalypto” which will be released on Friday. It’s been 6 years since JB & KG have put out a new original album. They did pick up a Grammy award in 2015 for their cover of Dio’s “The Last in Line” from their album of cover songs.

This coming weekend starts with a stand up comedy national television debut on the Tonight Show. Friday night, Jimmy Fallon will be introducing Orlando Leyba to the country. Not that Orlando hasn’t been doing that himself. He’s a nationally touring comedian who’s appeared on Gotham Live, HBO and NBC’s “Stand Up Showcase,” and has been a part of comedy festivals around country including the South Beach Comedy Festival and the Big Sky Comedy Festival.

Then on Saturday, SNL is back with a live show starring host Jonah Hill. That will be the night that Saturday Night Live inducts Jonah officially into the very prestigious 5-Timers Club. So be looking for cameos by other 5-Timers.

Enjoy each and every one of your late nights this week.
