Kenan Thompson Claims That Al Sharpton Loves His Sharpton Impression

Saturday Night Live’s Kenan Thompson was reflecting on the show’s 40th anniversary. It’s been reported that the 40th season will also be Kenan’s last one on Saturday Night Live.
Talking about his time on SNL, his trademark impression of the Rev. Al Sharpton came up. Kenan said one person who’s a big fan of it is the Reverend himself. According to PageSix, Kenan said he runs into Sharpton because they work in the same building. “When I run into him, he’ll be like, ‘Everything all right?’ And I’ll say to him [impersonating Sharpton’s voice], ‘Yeah, everything is fine.’ He likes it, you know?”
