Moontower Preview! Hasan Minhaj Talks About Jon Stewart and Trevor Noah

Last year Hasan Minhaj was great at Moontower Comedy Festival but this year he's coming back as a Daily Show Correspondent. Minhaj got his gig with the show this December, at the same time as Trevor Noah was hired. Now just 5 months into his time with the show, Hasan created memorable pieces, and learned so much. He's also going to be on board for the changing of the guard, as Stewart says goodbye to the show and Trevor Noah takes over as the new host. We got to talk with Hasan and ask him about working at the Daily Show during such an exciting time, and about Moontower.

The Kids in the Hall at The Village Underground With Ron Bennington

All five members of The Kids in the Hall will be guests on SiriusXM's Unmasked with host Ron Bennington and you can request tickets to be there for the historic event. Dave Foley, Kevin McDonald, Bruce McCulloch, Mark McKinney, and Scott Thompson formed the Kids in the Hall in 1984, and went on to become one of the most famous comedy sketch groups in the history of the genre.

The 90 minute talking head style documentary doesn't attempt address the importance or the history of comedy like many comedy docs. Instead, director Kevin Pollak goes inside the sausage factory, to find out what draws some men and women to want to get on stage in front of a bunch of strangers, and try to make them laugh. We talked with the documentary's director, Kevin Pollak, about his vision for the film, what he learned from the experience, and what motivated some of the choices along the way.

Earl Douglas Looks Back at The Ron and Fez Show

On the first day Ron and Fez arrived in New York to go on air at WNEW in February 2000, Earl Douglas was there. He later would become executive producer for the show, January of 2009 when he resigned on air. He spent nine years producing for the show and would become a giant part of the Ron and Fez story. An Englishman Goes Town to Town Performing Stand Up in Rural Atlantic Canada

James Mullinger is a British comedian who now lives in Atlantic Canada. A circuit regular in the UK, he had his own TV show (Movie Kingdom) as well as an online series for Comedy Central. He toured five stand up shows over five years and was also the Comedy Editor for GQ Magazine where he directed short films with the likes of Jerry Seinfeld, Garry Shandling, Robin Williams and Paul Rudd (see here ) as well as Simon Pegg and Stephen Merchant (watch here). He also ran his own comedy club for seven years which played host to the likes of Russell Brand, Sugar Sammy, Darrin Rose, Stephen Merchant, Jimmy Carr and many more. A year ago he moved with his wife and children (Hunter, four, and River, one) to New Brunswick, Canada. Everyone thought he was mad. But his career has flourished rather then floundered. Why?
