In Andrew Dice Clay's new book "The Filthy Truth" Clay reveals many things. An affair with Terri Hatcher, the origins of many components of the Diceman character, and behind the scenes looks at his many setbacks, achievements. He also talks about the outrageousness of his material, and how pushing boundaries both helped and hurt his career. The upsides were ongoing. Killing at clubs, his runaway breakout HBO Special, selling out Madison Square Garden for not one but two nights. Even the infamous appearance that got Dice banned from MTV seemed to only help his career.

Joe List Wins Comedian Highlander Football Challenge. Joe List is The One.

It started with 49 comedians, battling it out in the Ron and Fez Show/The Interrobang ESPN NFL Comedian Eliminator Challenge. To win, they had to beat the odds, and the other comedians by picking one winning team each week of the NFL season. Anyone who chose wrong was eliminated. To win, you only had to outlast everyone else, until there was only one.

New York’s Funniest Contest Shows Off Amazing Young Talent, Picks a Winner

Yesterday the New York Comedy Festival hosted its annual New York's Funniest Contest at Carolines on Broadway and there was amazing talent to choose from. Chris DiStefano hosted a sold out house in the middle of Saturday afternoon as eleven young New York based comics took the stage. Caroline herself was in the house and presented the award of being New York's Funniest to Ricky Velez, from Queens New York, who was also the audience favorite.

Ever since she can remember, Iliza Shlesinger knew that comedy would be a major part of her future. “It was a given, like you’re going to get old one day. Why Roast Battle is Becoming The Biggest Can’t Miss Show in Comedy

Roast Battle is the ultimate “you had to be there” experience, and fortunately New Yorkers will get the chance Saturday November 8th thanks to the New York Comedy Festival. It’s what you’d get if you combined 8 Mile style rap battles with a Comedy Central Roast and held it at a circus.
