Shecky Greene Quits Friars Club Over Gilbert Gottfried’s Act

Comedy legend Shecky Greene, 88, has been a member of the Friar's club for decades, but today he tore up his membership card and said he's finished. And it's all because of Gilbert Gotfried's dirty mouth. Shecky came by the SiriusXM studios along with his friend and fellow Friar Jeffrey Gurian, to sit down with Ron Bennington of the Ron and Fez show and talk about the incident that upset him so much that he turned in his Friars Card.

David Brenner Walked on the Edge of the Leaf: Excerpts From His 2008 ‘Unmasked’ Appearance

Back in 2008 Ron Bennington sat down the comedy legend, David Brenner for an hour long episode of the comedy interview series, "Unmasked." The show was taped in front of a live studio audience at Comix Comedy Club in New York City. Yesterday David Brenner passed away at the age of 78. As Ron Bennington said during his tribute to Brenner, "you couldn't write a book about comedy, without a chapter on David Brenner."
