Who’s on Late Night Tonight in Comedy?

This week, Fortune Feimster has plenty to promote, Amy Poehler’s got “Moxie,” and Mike Vecchione returns to the Tonight Show.

Hello, all you lovers of late night. We have your comedy listings below for all the funny guests booked on your favorite late night television shows. So whether you’re part of Colbert’s Congregation or a Follower of Fallon or a Kimmel Kid, we’ve got who you should be watching this week in late night.

Eddie Murphy is still doing virtual interviews on a couple of late night shows this week. Murph isn’t a regular guest on any late night show, but when he has a movie out, it seems like Eddie Murphy is everywhere all at once.

This week, you can catch Eddie Murphy out promoting “Coming 2 America“, the long awaited sequel to his 1988 comedy hit “Coming to America.” On Monday, Eddie Murphy will be on Late Night with Seth Meyers. Then on Thursday, Eddie Murphy is on CBS promoting “C2A” on the Late Late Show with James Corden.

Amy Poehler also has a film to promote and she’s making the late night rounds too. Amy is promoting her new comedy-drama “Moxie” which she not only co-stars in, but it’s her second turn in the director’s chair. “Moxie” is about a high school girl who has had enough of her school’s typical “jocks rule the campus with no pushback” hierarchy and she publishes her own magazine to expose it. “Moxie” is available now for streaming on Netflix.

You can catch Amy Poehler on two late night shows this week. First on Monday, Amy Poehler will be appearing with her old SNL buddy Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show. Then on Thursday, Amy visits another former SNL co-worker when she appears on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Monday starts the week strong with plenty of guests to make you laugh in late night. The evening begins with Conan on TBS where Conan O’Brien’s guest will be the very funny Fortune Feimster. If you’re wondering what Fortune will be promoting on Conan, it might be easier to ask, what won’t she be plugging on Monday night. Fortune’s schedule is jam-packed.

Fortune Feimster co-stars on the new Kenan Thompson sitcom “Kenan“, on Tuesdays on NBC. Plus, she also co-stars in “Yes Day“, a new family movie on Netflix about a day when the parents have to say “yes” to whatever their kids ask for 24 hours straight. You can also hear Fortune Feimster’s voice on the animated comedy series “Bless the Harts” on FOX.

Plus, you can catch her special “Fortune Feimster: Sweet & Salty” streaming on Netflix. And if that wasn’t enough, you can hear Fortune every weekday with Tom Papa on “What A Joke with Papa and Fortune” on SiriusXM’s Netflix Is A Joke Radio Channel 93. Whew. We’re exhausted just listing everything Fortune Feimster is actually doing.

If you’re still up for the 1:30am et time slot on Monday, you can catch a very unique comedy guest on A Little Late with Lilly Singh. Elsa Majimbo will be talking to Lilly Singh on Monday. She’s a Kenyan comedian from Nairobi who’s amassed a strong presence online.

The Covid19 worldwide pandemic and lockdown turned out to be a plus for Elsa. She started doing quarantine comedy videos online that gained popularity. She’s also known for her love of potato chips in her vids, or “crisps” as they’re known where she is. So, if you know anyone crazy about potato chips, let them know about Elsa Majimbo on A Little Late with Lilly Singh on Monday night.

Tuesday, we’re recommending you stay up for two of the best names in comedy on the late night schedule. First, Ron Funches who can’t not make you laugh (hooray for double negatives), will be on Conan on TBS. And if that’s still not enough comedy for you, Tracy Morgan will be on the Late Late Show with James Corden on Tuesday night on CBS and he’s also promoting “Coming 2 America” which is earning Tray rave reviews. Plus, he may have an explanation for what happened with him at the Golden Globe Awards. Bless his “Sal.”

Wednesday night is the night we’re really looking forward to in late night. One Jimmy Fallon’s favorite comedians, Mike Vecchione is returning to the Tonight Show. We’re in total agreement with Jimmy Fallon when it comes to Mike Vecchione being one of our favorite comics. And Vecchione always kills it when he’s on the Tonight Show.

Mike Vecchione will be promoting his podcast “No Disrespect” which he co-hosts with Justin Silver on the Gas Digital Network. It’s the “fastest rising podcast” on the network. And that’s according to the “No Disrespect” page on the Gas Digital Network site, so you know it’s true. Break a leg this Wednesday, Mike!

Also on Wednesday, rising comedy star Travon Free will be on Jimmy Kimmel Live. He has a different type of project that he’s promoting. He wrote and directed a live-action short that is getting Oscar buzz. It’s called “Two Distant Strangers” and it can be described as “Groundhog Day” meets the Black Lives Matter protest. The short is hoping to turn that Oscar buzz into a nomination next Monday when the Academy Award nominations are announced.

Friday night, Jimmy Fallon will have a new episode of the Tonight Show featuring guest Nick Offerman, but there are plenty of great late night reruns on Friday evening as well. You can see replays of Sacha Baron Cohen on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the always snarky David Spade on Late Night with Seth Meyers and Owen Wilson on a Late Late Show with James Corden repeat.

Saturday Night Live is off this coming weekend. But we highly recommend SNL Encores at 10pm et on NBC this Saturday. It’s a condensed version of SNL with an episode hosted by former cast member Bill Hader. Then at 11:30pm et, your regularly scheduled SNL rerun stars John Krasinski (“The Office“, “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan“) as your host with Machine Gun Kelly as the musical guest.

Have a great week watching late night TV and remember to let those laughs out. If you hold them in too long, you could get a bladder infection. Wait. That might be pee I’m thinking of.
