Weird Al Yankovic’s Latest Release “Sports Song”

Weird Al’s “8 Videos in 8 Days” campaign continues with another new video release from his “Mandatory Fun” album. His latest is a salute to fandom everywhere. Backed by a full marching band, “Sports Song” features Weird Al Yankovic on the field singing about how much your team sucks. “Sports Song” was released Friday on FunnyorDie.com.

So far this week, the King of Pop parody has given us “Tacky” spoofing Pharrell Williams giant hit “Happy”. On day 2, we got “Word Crimes” based on the Robin Thicke’s song of the Summer 2013, “Blurred Lines”. The week continued with a parody of Lourdes’ “Royals” which Weird Al turned to “Foil” in a salute to the famous food wrap. Next up, he turned Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” into “Handy” a parody about home improvements.

We’re half way through Weird Al Yankovic’s week of brand new videos. We’ll see what the next 4 days brings.
