Wanda Sykes Drives Like a Grandma in New ‘Jay Leno’s Garage’ Teaser

Jay Leno’s Garage, the series in which Leno experiments and plays with automobiles of all kinds, is set to return to CNBC on Wednesday, June 28th with a back-to-back episode premiere. In anticipation of the beginning of season three, CNBC has released a sneak peek of episode one, which features Leno and comedian Wanda Sykes gearing up for a race on a rainy obstacle course driving a minivan full of eggs.

In the clip, Leno and Sykes prepare to drive an obstacle course with a car not only full of hundreds of eggs, but also two child-size crash test dummies to see who’s the safer driver. That challenge is made even more interesting due to the record-setting rain that hits the course before they begin. Along with Sykes, the first episode will also feature Leno visiting former President George W. Bush at his ranch in Texas to check out his old school Ford pickup, as well as pop-ins by comedians Gabriel Iglesias (and his classic Trans-Am) and Mike and Molly’s Billy Gardell.

The second episode, playing right after the first, will feature comedians Brad Garrett and J.B. Smoove, as well as a ride along with a group of Marines for a training exercise in their insane V-22 Osprey and a test drive in an unusually large VW bug. Does size really matter? Leno’s hoping to find out.

The back-to-back episode premiere of Jay Leno’s Garage will take place at 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28th on CNBC. You can check out the teaser, featuring Leno and Sykes, below.
