The former head writer for the popular satirical news site The Onion will bring the same wit to Late Night. Meyers promises to bring the same political humor to Late Night that he has brought to different sketches and Weekend Update over the years and the two should be a great fit. As far as going deep into the comedy rabbit hole, Reiss has been tweeting as the main character of the long-defunct NBC show Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and even released a fake oral history of the show online with writing parter Jake Fogelnest. Reiss has also written for the hilarious IFC show Comedy Bang! Bang!
