Alex Baze took over as head writer of SNL’s Weekend Update during Seth Meyers run as solo anchor of the late night staple and has joined Meyers in his departure for Late Night. The addition of Baze to the staff should promise viewers the same patented humor that helped make Seth so great during Update. Baze has also contributed to the last two Golden Globes which were received very well by critics.
