RIOT LA Festival Hits the Mark as a Formidable National Festival

Only four years in and RIOT has grown into a mature and formidable national festival! The two and a half day event was crammed with eye-catching headliners like David Cross, Gilbert Gottfried, TJ Miller and Ron Funches and had more talent scuttled onto the generic Comics To Watch showcases than many festivals have as their top names.

The Best and Biggest Comedy Tours of 2015

Gigantic was the word in comedy tours in 2015. Some tours broke records for the size of the venue, others for the incredible number of celebrated performers, and still others were gigantic because of how many cities of the world they hit, or because the tour has been going on forever! It’s almost impossible to try and list my top comedy moments from 2015, because there were just so many. Trying to only choose 15 was a monumental task. Last year I did more of a review than a “Top 15” list, but this year I decided to try and list the 15 events that meant the most to me. Hours and Hours of Just For Laughs Comedy Without Leaving Home

The annual Just for Laughs Festival is undisputedly the Godfather of Comedy Festivals. Everyone in comedy has either performed at Just for Laughs or wants to, but not everyone can make it to Montreal. This year, Just for Laughs is bringing the festival to you. Today the J4L team has announced that the Pete Holmes Elevator Show, a 90 minute Prime Time Special hosted by Howie Mandell, Funny as Hell featuring plenty of stand up hotsed by Jon Dore, hours of comedy performances from Just For Laughs, and The Nasty Show hosted by Artie Lange!

Seth Meyers To Headline Gilda’s Laughfest 2016

This morning producers announced the lineup for the Sixth Annual annual Gilda's Laughfest. Seth Meyers, Kathy Griffin, Marlon Wayans, Anjelah Johnson and Roy Wood Jr. will headline the 2016 festival along with performances from Jim Norton, Bridget Everett, Denver's own Grawlix (which features Ben Roy, Andrew Orvedahl and Adam Cayton-Holland), Ron Funches, Undateable's Chris D’Elia, Bert Kreischer, Heather McDonald, and Sebastian Maniscalco.
