Tracy Morgan hasn't spoken publicly since last year's terrible crash, when a Walmart truck slammed into the bus he was riding in, killing his friend comedian James "Jimmy Mac" McNair, and seriously injuring Morgan, and others. This morning on the Today show, along with his lawyer, Morgan talked about the crash, his recovery, and recent settlement with Walmart.

Comedian Tracy Morgan has settled his lawsuit with Walmart over the crash that left Morgan seriously injured last summer. The amount and details of the settlement have not been disclosed, but Morgan released a statement today saying “Wal-Mart did right by me and my family, and for my associates and their families. I am grateful that the case was resolved amicably.”

Walmart is saying Tracy Morgan and his passengers are at fault -- at least in part-- for the injuries they sustained in the June 7th six-car accident on the New Jersey turnpike. The company says Tracy and the other passengers in the limo should have been wearing seat belts when it was slammed into from behind by a Walmart operated tractor trailer. The first collision caused a chain reaction of cars hitting each other.
