Tracy Morgan, Ardie Fuqua and Harris Stanton Return to Dover Downs

Tracy Morgan returned triumphant, vulnerable and funny as ever to the same club he played the night of the horrible limo crash that killed one and serious injured Morgan and several of his companions. It was his first time performing at Dover Downs since the accident. Philly.com reported that Morgan was joined onstage by Ardie Fuqua and Harris Stanton, two comedians who also survived the crash with him. A front row seat was topped with a golden bow to commemorate James “Jimmy Mack” McNair,  who did not survive the crash.

In an emotional night equally packed with laughter and tears, Morgan discussed his lawsuit with Walmart settling for millions of dollars. While Morgan’s not mad at the driver, the people who are still angry with him are Morgan’s “new white neighbors” at his $14 million new home.

The night sounds unique and impossible to recreate and the material may become part of a future special, but this show was just for those in the audience. Morgan is currently touring with his “Tracy Morgan: Picking Up the Pieces” tour. Future dates include a performance at Humphrey’s Concerts By the Bay in San Diego (October 20th) and at Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California (October 21st). Tickets can be purchased through TracyMorgan.net.
