Sony Pictures Relaunches Ghostbusters.com for 2016 Reboot
Ghostbusters 2016 is coming! Right we knew that, but film details have been locked up tight for the most part, and its been a while since Paul Feig has leaked a detail about the upcoming blockbuster. Today Sony Pictures re-launched Ghostbusters.com with all new graphics, updated, modernized and focused on the 2016 Paul Feig helmed reboot.
“Thirty years after the original film took the world by storm, Ghostbusters is back and fully rebooted for a new generation,” Sony said with a release about the site update. “Director Paul Feig combines all the paranormal fighting elements that made the original franchise so beloved with a cast of new characters, played by the funniest actors working today. Get ready to watch them save the world this summer!
On the website you’ll find a look at the cast and crew of Ghostbusters, an image gallery from the new movie, and access to the official Ghostbusters store, which so far is only stocked with merchandise from the original franchise.
We also learn the full names of our new ghostbusters. Melissa McCarthy is Abby Yates, Kristin Wiig is Erin Gilbert, Kate McKinnon is Jillian Hotlzmann, and Leslie Jones is Patty Tolan. Can a trailer be far behind?
