Seven Selfies With Ismo!
It’s a selfie world, and we’re not going to fight it anymore. So our series, Seven Selfies, asks an artist to share seven photos of themselves, taken by themselves, to share a day in their life. A master at observing linguistics, Ismo is known for his intellectual way of breaking down the English language from an outsiders point of view. In fact, his stand up clips are often used to teach English. He’s the #1 comic in Finland and is making a name for himself among some of the top comedians around the world. He has become widely known for his appearance on Conan with his stand-up clip going viral with over 70+ million views and recently launched a fun series of videos with Merriam-Webster Dictionary. He’s also written and starred in two seasons of his own sitcom, Ismo, filmed four DVD specials and sold out concert halls and theaters across UK and Finland. He made his US debut in 2014 at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood where he won the title of “The Funniest Person in the World.” In December 2015, he relocated to Los Angeles from Finland, and now performs regularly at the clubs in LA along with headlining across the US. He has appeared on national television;
NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly, and became the first Finnish Comedian to perform on Conan in 2018.
Ismo will be a contestant on NBC’s Bring The Funny TONIGHT Tuesday, July 16th @ 10pm.
