Seth Rogen just beat the Happy Meal with a new way to promote a movie.

Do you like hot dogs? What about Seth Rogen, or animated movies? If you said yes to even one of those then you’ll probably dig this: Pasadena-based gourmet hot dog/sausage/burger joint Dog Haus announced on Thursday that they’ve partnered up with Chef Ilan Hall to create a custom-tailored hot dog to promote the new animated Sony Pictures feature, Sausage Party.

The film stars Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride and a slew of other funny folks as anthropomorphic hot dogs, hot dog buns and various other food items as they learn the true nature of their existences, desperately trying to avoid being eaten. If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. It’s deceivingly innocent at first, but shit hits the fan in a hilarious fashion soon enough. The trailer is posted below:

The unique hot dog, called The Naughty Dog, that Chef Hall and Dog Haus conjured up sounds delicious: it’s a spicy Polish kielbasa covered in spicy beer-braised onions, crispy onions and horseradish mayo, all piled onto a grilled Hawaiian roll. Hall, an accomplished chef who won season two of Top Chef and also hosts the Esquire network’s culinary show Knife Fight, clearly knows what he’s doing.

“Our goal has always been to take the humble hot dog, sausage and burger and elevate them to satisfy the adult palate,” says Dog Haus co-founder André Vener, “So this particular movie partnership to create The Naughty Dog (a grown up dog) with talented chef Ilan Hall, felt like a perfect fit to us.”

The Naughty Dog launched on Wednesday, and is available at all Dog Haus locations. Folks on the East Coast (specifically New York) can get a taste of the creation at Chef Ilan Hall’s New York restaurant Esh.
