Patrice O’Neal: A Life In Comedy Audio Doc Premieres This Friday Along With a Rare Patrice Audio Recording

An audio documentary honoring Patrice O’Neal will debut this Friday on SiriusXM satellite radio’s Faction Talk Channel.  The documentary, which is hosted by Ron Bennington, will take a look at Patrice’s legacy with the conversations with thirteen of Patrice’s friends. Bennington will also include some words from Patrice himself, taken from a 2006 recording of Bennington’s critically acclaimed Unmasked series. O’Neal was a guest on the very first day of recording the series, and Bennington has spoken about Patrice’s hour being the inspiration for the rest of the series which now has over 200 hours recorded.

Along with the voices of Bennington and Patrice, the hour also includes great stories and insight into Patrice’s life from friends and fellow comedians Keith Robinson and Wil Sylvince- both of whom lived with Patrice for a time, Dave Attell, D.L. Hughley, Bonnie McFarlane, Tom Papa, Jim Norton, Robert Kelly, Rich Vos, Michael Che, Jim Florentine, Nick DiPaolo, Big Jay Oakerson, and Craig Robinson, who worked with Patrice on The Office.  You’ll hear Patrice stories from the road, from the comics table at the Comedy Cellar, the Boston Comedy Club, the Charlie Sheen Roast, and so much more.
