Louis C.K. Wrote the Foreword to Norm Macdonald’s Upcoming Memoir

Comedian Norm Macdonald, whom I have wished was my uncle for many years now, has announced a couple interesting pieces of news in the past couple weeks. For one, his long-defunct podcast, Norm Macdonald Live, will be making its triumphant return to the internet sometime soon. The show, a part of the Video Podcast Network that also hosts shows by comics such as Adam Carolla and Doug Benson, was styled like a late-night talk show, with guests like Todd Glass, Kevin Nealon and Roseanne Barr dropping in for interviews and general shit-shooting.
Macdonald confirmed that the show would be returning via a response to a fan on Twitter:

An observant fan pointed out the second piece of news: Macdonald’s upcoming memoir, Based on a True Story, will feature a forward by none other than Louis C.K. The two got to know each other while working in New York (On SNL and Conan, respectively), and the two are both comedy juggernauts, so it’s no surprise that they’ve collaborated for this project.
Based on a True Story is set to release on September 20th, so be sure to grab your copy ASAP, because this one’s not to be missed.
