Legion of Skanks Turns LA Trip Into Puerto Rico Fundraiser
Last week, the Legion of Skanks did two giant shows from the Comedy Store in Los Angeles. First, they sold out the Main Room of the Store with a gigantic stand-up show that featured all of the Legion of Skanks guys- Luis J. Gomez, Dave Smith and Big Jay Oakerson as well as Kurt Metzger, Nikki Glaser, Kim Congdon and Tony Hinchcliffe, plus drop in sets from Bill Burr and Joe Rogan. Immediately following the stand up show, the Skanks sold out the legendary Belly Room for an L.O.S. podcast. The night was such a giant success that the Skanks decided they wanted to share the love and donated all of the proceeds from both shows to the relief efforts in Puerto Rico. So for anyone who thinks a Skank can’t have a heart– here’s living, breathing proof of just the opposite.
