Did you get your brackets busted our the weekend? It’s hard to tell if that sounds like a good thing or a bad thing. Either way, you can commiserate or celebrate with some late night comedy. Here’s some of the funny things to look forward to after the Sun goes down this week.
We’ll start this week’s highlights by beginning at the end of the week. On Friday, we are so excited about Joe List performing stand up on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. You’ve seen Joe on Conan, Letterman, Comedy Central and Last Comic Standing to name just a few of his national appearances. Although probably, his greatest claim to fame was becoming the inaugural champion of the Interrobang Comedian Highlander Football Challenge. Joe will be promoting his new Netflix special which is part of the streaming service’s second season series, The Standups. It will be available on Netflix on Tuesday, March 20th and you can read how everything about the special made him nervous on the Interrobang.
On Monday, Conan kicks off a very funny week with a guest just in time for a very late St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Irish comedian, actor and filmmaker Dylan Moran will be on Conan on Monday along with a stand up performance from the very funny Rachel Feinstein. Then make sure to stay up extra late or set your DVR because one of our all time favorite story telling comedians, Tom Segura, will be on Last Call with Carson Daly late Monday night on NBC.
Tuesday is a day we’ve been looking forward to for a long time. It’s the return of the always unpredictable and always hilarious, Chris Gethard Show on truTV. Chris, Shannon O’Neill, The Human Fish, Vacation Jason and the whole insane crew and audience are back with new episodes starting Tuesday at 11pm on truTV with special guest, Abbi Jacobson. And be sure to check the full listings for Tuesday below because it’s filled with comedy from top to bottom including a stand up performance from Rory Albanese on the Late Show, Judd Apatow on JKL, Bob Saget returning to the Tonight Show and Will Forte visiting James Corden on the Late Late Show.
Thursday, Jimmy Kimmel welcomes back the Queen of 90’s Sitcoms, Roseanne Barr to television. Roseanne and her TV husband, John Goodman are appearing on JKL to promote their Emmy and Golden Globe award winning sitcom coming back to ABC. “Roseanne” is in prime time once again starting Tuesday, March 27th. Also on Thursday, the incomparably funny Fran Lebowitz returns as a guest on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.
Hope your brackets feel better.
