Happy 4th of July week! This is the week when ALL the late night hosts celebrate their independence from their television desks and chairs and are on vacation. Even The Jim Jefferies Show on Comedy Central is off this week and he’s Australian! Since it’s also the late night fans’ week to celebrate their independence from new comedy programming as they go to bed, these hosts have filled the week with plenty of repeats featuring great comedy guests you can enjoy once again or for the first time.
Here’s some rerun highlights for your holiday week.
If you plan on spending the holiday catching the new basketball comedy “Uncle Drew“, Jimmy Kimmel is re-airing his interview with the star of the movie, the hysterical Lil Rel Howery on Monday. Lil Rel seems to be everywhere these days and not leaving anytime soon. So, this is a great chance to get to know this very funny comedian a little bit better if you’re not already on the Lil Rel bandwagon.
Tuesday brings us repeats of a couple of great stand up performances. Adam Cayton-Holland is performing on a repeat of the Late Late Show with James Corden and catch an encore of Jeff Arcuri’s national television late night debut on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
On Wednesday, you can catch reruns of some very funny people sitting on TV’s late night couches with Tina Fey on the Tonight Show and Louie Anderson stopping by Late Night with Seth Meyers. While on Thursday, all the networks have comedy guests in late night, including Tracy Morgan on Conan, Tig Notaro on Colbert, and Marlon Wayans on the Tonight Show.
Then wrap up your week on Friday with a pair of funny “Nick”s in late night. First, Nikki Glaser’s most recent incredible Tonight Show performance is re-airing on Friday and Nick Kroll is on a rerun of Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC. If you didn’t see Kroll’s appearance on JKL the first time it aired, it’s worth the watch. And be sure to keep an eye on his pants. That’s all we’re saying.
