Who’s on Late Night Tonight in Comedy?

Now that President Trump has been sworn in, it feels like this year can finally get underway. Oh wait. Over at CBS, Stephen Colbert and James Corden each need another week off. That’s okay, there’s still plenty of late night comedy to enjoy. In fact, it’s one of the best weeks for stand up in late night that we’ve seen in a long time. Here’s a few highlights. On Monday, Jimmy Kimmel is keeping his New Year’s resolution to devote some more JKL time to stand up comedians when he hosts Bill Burr on his show. On Wednesday, congratulations go to Candice Thompson who is making her late night television stand up debut and it’s on the Tonight Show! Last year, Candice was one of Riot LA Festival’s Comics to Watch. And if you’re a fan of Roast Battle on Comedy Central, check out @midnight on Thursday where the panel is filled with Roast Battle veterans including the Roastmaster General and host of Roast Battle Jeff Ross, Roast Battle competitor Jamar Neighbors and the 2016 Roast Battle Champion Mike Lawrence who was crowned champ last year at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal.
