On same day that he announced the “biggest comedy tour in history”, Kevin Hart has made NBA history. He’s won his 4th consecutive NBA All Star Weekend Celebrity Game MVP Award. What makes it even more impressive is that Kevin Hart did this while playing on the losing team. The West Celebrity All Stars beat Hart’s East Celebrity team 57 to 51 Friday night in Madison Square Garden.

Kevin Hart’s teammates representing the East included Common, Chadwick Boseman, NBA TV’s Kristen Ledlow, Paralympian Blake Leeper, Abhishek Bachchan, Michael Rapaport, former New York Knick Allan Houston and the WNBA’s Tina Charles and Shoni Schimmel.

The Celebrity West team consisted of Sarah Silverman, Anthony Andersom, Ansel Elgort, Win Butler, Grizzlies owner Robert Pera, Jesse Williams, Skylar Diggins from the WNBA, Former Golden State Warrior Chris Mullin, Nick Cannon and Mo’ne Davis, 8th Little League World Series superstar pitcher.

Celebrity All Star coach Spike Lee predicted on SiriusXM’s Ron and Fez Show that Mo’ne Davis would end Kevin Hart’s run of MVP honors and take home the award herself. That didn’t happen, but Kevin experienced Mo’ne’s court skills first hand when she through a spin move on him to score during the game.

After winning his 4th MVP award, Kevin Hart reportedly announced his retirement from the NBA All Star Weekend Celebrity Game saying his achievement will never be matched.

Mo’ne Davis takes Kevin Hart to school.

It’s unusual to see someone trash talking their own team like Kevin Hart did before the game.
