Judd Apatow and Pete Holmes Will Tape an Hour with Ron Bennington With a Studio Audience

The stars and EP of HBO’s brand new series “Crashing”- Judd Apatow, Pete Holmes and other guests to be announced- will be coming to New York City to tape an episode of Unmasked, Tuesday, January 15th at 4pm. Ron Bennington will host the event which will take place in front of a studio audience in New York City’s Village Underground, where many of the series episodes were filmed!

Crashing was created by and stars Pete Holmes as a stand up comic who discovers that his wife is unfaithful, leading him to reevaluate his life amidst the New York City comedy scene. Artie Lange plays a character based on himself, who helps Holmes after he finds himself wandering the streets with nowhere to go. The series was created by Pete Holmes, and is executive produced by Judd Apatow and Pete Holmes. The series launches its third season on January 20th at 10pm on HBO.

This should be an amazing Unmasked event. Judd Apatow has been in the business of comedy as a creator, performer, and writer since high school, and now in addition to creating his own great projects, he has developed a reputation as an EP with a discerning eye for talent and the ability to choose the right projects to help take artists to the next level in their careers. Pete Holmes had his own talk show on TBS, a hugely popular podcast, and just released a brand new hour special in 2015. Crashing may be his best project yet- deeply personal and yet hilariously funny. And together they’ve created, written and directed three seasons of Crashing, which won Best Comedy Television Show in this year’s Year in Comedy Awards.
