Jim Gaffigan Tour Announced!


Jim Gaffigan announced his summer tour this week, to the delight of fans and restaurnts across the country. Gaffigan joked “I’m so thrilled to be eating my way across America again. Oh, wait, I’m doing shows too?” The top touring performer, who also happens to be KFC’s latest chicken dreaming Colonel Sanders, will no doubt be well fed in snacks and adoration as he traverses across America.
The tour announcement comes as a relief to many of his fans who were worried the hilarious comedian wouldn’t have time to tour. Fans weren’t wrong to be concerned. Not only is Gaffigan a Grammy nominated comedian and New York Times best-selling author, he also stars in the critically acclaimed television show, The Jim Gaffigan Show on TV Land, and just landed the lead role of Peng in the feature film Duck Duck Goose, for Original Force Animation. Oh! and he also has five kids.
So how does he do it? How does Gaffigan find time to organize and produce a 30 plus city tour accoss America and Canada? Enter his partner, his wife, writer and executive producer Jeannie Gaffigan. The two have been a power couple for quite some time now. Jeannie also writes and executive produces The Jim Gaffigan show, and before that she she co-wrote and executive produced – Beyond The Pale: Jim Gaffigan which achieved Platinum sales for CD and DVD. According to an interview with the New York Times Jeannie and Jim met while she was persuing acting in NYC and he was working his way up as a stand up comedian. They got to talking in a Korean market on Mott Street, in NYC, and the rest as they say, is history. They were married in 2003, and have been unstoppable every since.
